Trades Tech II (Carpentry) 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Gwinnett County, GA Class Summary Job Description The Trades Technician position will be responsible for installing, repairing equipment, as well as preventative and general maintenance. This position will be responsible for responding to field and emergency calls. In addition, this position will provide assistance to the Carpentry Foreman on special and large projects. Essential Duties Performing installations and repairing equipment Maintaining and stocking own work truck Preparing and setting up tools, equipment, and materials as needed for each assignment Responsible for county credit card, cell phone and tablet Monitoring and responding to emails Coordinating with outside vendors as needed Completing daily service requests and providing to the Carpentry Foreman daily Maintaining a safe working environment Public Speaking Duties Participating in section meetings and on safety committees.
