Kern Studios strives to create memorable entertainment experiences that exceed client’s expectations by combining tradition and innovation. We are currently looking to add to our innovative team – Electrical Foreman with a minimum of 5 years experience. Duties to include, but not limited to: Design, install, and maintain electrical systems and equipment. Troubleshoot electrical issues and repair faulty components. Ensure electrical systems are in proper working order and adhere to safety codes and regulations. Understand wiring principles/perform wiring for all electrical components on floats Maintain compliance within a safe work environment at all times Read and comprehend diagrams, plans and drafts for all projects Able to complete inspection processes with appropriate agencies Ensure and maintain all work is performed in compliance with local, state and national codes (NEC) Supervise and mentor apprentices and other electricians on the team. Willing to work holidays, weekends and evenings Available for on-call Willing and able to drive to multiple locations/job sites
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required Must hold valid Journeyman License Must possess valid DL and must be able to meet the criteria to become authorized to drive for the company

must be able to see in color to recognize difference in color wires. Reach, push, pull, lift and carry Walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, stoop, crawl Climb up and down ladders Work within confined spaces
