Kansas City, Missouri Full-Time | Benefits Included Are you a skilled electrician with strong leadership abilities? We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead and manage electrical crews on commercial and/or industrial projects throughout the Kansas City area.
Position Overview:
The Electrical Foreman will oversee on-site operations, coordinate work schedules, ensure compliance with safety standards, and maintain project timelines. This role is crucial to ensuring high-quality electrical installations and efficient team performance.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and direct electricians and apprentices on job sites Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Plan and execute layout and installation of electrical systems and equipment Maintain compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and inspectors Track daily progress, crew hours, and material usage Mentor and train junior team members Ensure all safety procedures are followed and enforced Troubleshoot electrical problems and provide effective solutions
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of electrical experience; supervisory experience preferred Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (preferred) Strong knowledge of electrical codes and construction processes Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications Excellent organizational and communication skills Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
