PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
This position installs, maintains, diagnoses, and repairs the telecommunication systems that exist across the assigned CPKC rail network.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
100% field position, inside and outside working conditionsAbility to support on call operations (24×7 availability)Assist in the support of the data network team to ensure all systems are functioning accuratelyAbility to install, maintain and support telecommunications systems (VHF, Microwave, and PTC)Assist in the support of installed camera, desktops and printers, and WIFI systems at assigned locations
