Our awning Installers are responsible for the repair, maintenance and the installation of all Charlotte Tent and Awning products assigned. Your duties will require daily travel to and from sites and sometime overnight stays are necessary.

PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE. CONSTRUCTION LEAD EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Installing assigned CTA products. Maintenance of company trucks, tools and hardware. Following all safety guidelines and specifications. Safely driving company owned vehicles. Supervise and coordinate installation activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications. Conduct regular inspections of work performed to guarantee compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Collaborate with project managers to address any issues that arise during the installation process. Confirming site conditions and measurements as they relate to specified drawings. Coordinating with General Contractors, Supers or Homeowners for general instructions and requirements for on-site installs. Ability to field measure, document and update data for specific project installation. Using hand and power tools. Comfortable working with heights – using ladders and lifts. Providing great customer service and great communication.

Schedule:

Day shift starting at 7am Monday to Friday Overtime Year round work Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a small team on installation projects, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires a strong background in construction and installation processes, as well as the ability to lead a team effectively. Qualifications Proven leadership experience in construction management, sign installation or a similar role. Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, tape measure, ladders and lifts. Preference given to applicants with carpentry experience. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high morale among team members. Train and mentor junior installers/helpers, fostering a collaborative team environment. Strong communication skills to interact with clients, subcontractors and team members. If you are an experienced Lead looking for an opportunity to showcase your skills we encourage you to apply. It is necessary that you have verifiable construction experience. Applicants with carpentry experience will be given preference over those that don’t. What hourly pay rate are you looking for? Our starting pay is up to $25 which depends on experience. Increases in pay depend on a few factors including your ability to learn our business, your potential for growth/advancement within our company including your potential/ability to lead a Team and of course your performance overall. It’s required that you are willing to travel up to 50% of the time.

Experience:
Construction Lead:

2 years (Required), carpentry experience preferred. Reading a tape measure. Using hand tools and power tools. Working on ladders and lifts. Must be willing and able to travel out of town – some overnights.

License/Certification:

valid Driver’s License and clean driving record (required)
