Pipe Foreman 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars Charlotte, NC 28289 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pipe Foreman with experience with Water / Sewer / Reclaim / Storm to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various site development jobs by ensuring that all utility systems are functioning efficiently after repairing them. This position requires a strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist in the installation of the water / sewer / storm / reclaim utilities. Interpret and work from schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and compliance with project specifications. Utilize construction management software to track project progress and report on utility-related tasks. Supervise utility operations on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations. Conduct regular inspections of utility systems. Collaborate with contractors and other construction teams to coordinate utility repairs within set timelines. Participate in budgeting discussions related to utility projects, providing insights on material costs and labor requirements. Working foreman, foreman may need operate as needed. Keep track of crew timesheets and project progress. Skills Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints. Strong knowledge of pipeline installation and maintenance practices. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead teams effectively. Familiarity with contract management within the construction industry. Understanding of construction management principles and practices. Experience operating heavy equipment. Ability to train crew. Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations.
