Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our residential construction team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in building homes from start to finish and a comprehensive understanding of residential building codes.
Responsibilities:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential construction, including building homes from start to finish. General knowledge of applicable residential building codes. Proficiency in construction scheduling with builder software. Ability to maintain compliance with company policies and procedures. Adherence to procedures as required by the subcontractor Scopes of Work and Build Me Standards, with the ability to take corrective action as necessary. Conduct detailed frame checks on each unit before drywall installation, following Build Me Policy and Procedures, and ensure timely completion of any noted items. Ensure all work is performed safely and enforce safety standards. Must obtain or already possess 10-hour OSHA certification. Must obtain or already possess SWPPP Certification. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, including effective communication with internal and external customers, vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service. Exhibit computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and construction scheduling software. Ability to work independently and complete assignments within prescribed guidelines and standard practices. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and perform special projects and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
