ELECTRICAL FOREMAN

Commercial / Residential Electrician Needed (Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Holly Springs)

Job Title:
Electrical Foreman Working Knowledge Of:
  • Operate large pipe bending tools, both hydraulic or mechanical
  • Wire circuit breakers, transformers, and other components
  • Trace out short circuits in wiring, using test meter
  • Install EMT conduit (run and bend)
  • Install receptacles and switches
  • Fixture installs
  • Disassemble defective electrical equipment, using hand tools
  • Drill holes and pull wires/cable through walls and ceilings
  • Examine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connections
  • Strip insulation from wire ends
  • Thread conduit ends, connect couplings, fabricate and secure conduit support brackets
  • Connect circuits and breakers
  • Replace fuses and fuse boxes
  • Operate scissor lift
  • Read/interpret blue prints
  • Coordinate with general contractors, clients, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow
  • Order materials, manage inventory, and ensure all necessary tools and equipment are available on-site
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, work logs, and schedules
  • Train and mentor junior electricians and helpers, promoting skill development and safety awareness
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce proper safety protocols
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of electrical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/foreman role
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage and motivate crews and ensure projects are completed safely, on time and with the highest quality standards
  • Valid drivers license and hand tools
  • Reliable transportation
