Electrical Foreman Position Overview The Electrical Foreman is responsible for overseeing electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role involves supervising a team of electricians, managing project schedules, enforcing safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of electrical teams on-site. Create and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks. Conduct safety management practices to ensure a secure working environment. Perform quality control checks on electrical installations and systems. Manage project budgets and monitor expenditures to align with financial goals. Negotiate contracts with clients and subcontractors to ensure mutual agreement and compliance. Lead and motivate team members to achieve project objectives and maintain high morale. Oversee site management activities, ensuring efficient workflow and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety regulations. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential issues and implement mitigation strategies. Resolve any problems that arise during the project lifecycle promptly and effectively. Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members to ensure alignment and clarity. Utilize technical knowledge in construction to guide the team and solve complex challenges. Perform inspections and generate reports on project status and compliance. Qualifications Proven experience as an Electrical Foreman or similar role in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards. Demonstrated experience in project scheduling and budget management. Excellent safety management skills and a commitment to promoting a safe work environment. Experience with quality control processes and methods in electrical work. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Familiarity with contract negotiation and compliance processes.
