The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in various concrete projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This position requires a strong understanding of concrete foundation, layout, and retaining walls. Duties Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various structures, including foundations, sidewalks, and driveways. Manage tasks related to concrete finishing, including smoothing surfaces and applying sealants. Collaborate with supervisors and other laborers to ensure project timelines are met. Interpret schematics and blueprints to accurately execute project specifications. Conduct site inspections to maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations. Support estimating processes by providing input on material needs and labor requirements. Requirements Proven experience in concrete foundation, layout, and retaining walls. Strong skills in supervising teams and managing project schedules effectively. Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction plans. Excellent physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members on the construction site.
