We’re a growing, veteran-owned commercial and residential excavation company seeking an experienced and driven Excavation Foreman to join our team. If you’re a natural leader with a strong work ethic, solid industry knowledge, and a commitment to quality, this is your opportunity to take on a key role in a company that values professionalism, teamwork, and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise excavation crews across a variety of job sites
- Maintain a safe and organized job site; conduct daily safety briefings
- Interpret site plans, manage elevations and grades, and ensure high-quality workmanship
- Coordinate materials, scheduling, equipment, and subcontractors
- Keep accurate daily documentation of production, labor, and materials
- Communicate clearly with project managers, inspectors, and clients
- Mentor and support crew members to foster a positive, productive environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of excavation or site work experience (supervisory experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of excavation safety, grading, and equipment operation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Willingness to work nights/weekends when necessary
