East Bay Electric is an Electrical contractor specializing in commercial construction projects and service work. With a commitment to excellence, safety, and innovation, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead and manage electrical installation teams on commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical construction, from site work to finish, as well as expertise in interpreting blueprints and working directly with general contractors and project managers.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Management :
Oversee the electrical installation process from start to finish, ensuring timelines and safety standards are met.
Team Leadership :
Supervise, mentor, and coordinate electrical teams to ensure work is performed to the highest standards.
Installation :
Once supervision expectations are met, it is expected that the Foreman will be installing all components necessary to complete the project.
GC Communication :
Serve as the, on site, point of contact with the General Contractor, providing updates, resolving issues, and ensuring project milestones are met.
Blueprint Interpretation :
Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to accurately install electrical systems.
Quality Control :
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to local codes and regulations.
Problem Solving :
Address and resolve any electrical issues on-site, ensuring minimal project delays.
Safety Compliance :
Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and standards to maintain a safe work environment for all team members.
Qualifications:
Experience :
Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 2 years in a foreman or supervisory role.
Skills :
Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems, including lighting, power, and low voltage systems. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
Leadership :
Proven ability to lead a team, manage schedules, and resolve issues on-site.
Communication :
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with general contractors, project managers, and other trades.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in a physically demanding environment.
