The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction and underground infrastructure, with a proven ability to manage crews, ensure safety and quality standards, and meet project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily activities of pipe crews for sewer, water, and storm system installation Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications to ensure proper installation Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Superintendents, and other trades to maintain project flow Ensure compliance with local codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards Monitor trench safety and ensure all underground work meets required depth, grade, and alignment Train and mentor crew members in pipe laying techniques and safety protocols Maintain accurate daily logs and communicate progress or issues to management Assist in ordering materials and scheduling equipment as needed Troubleshoot and resolve onsite issues in a timely and effective manner
