Construction Worker Position Available In Covington, Alabama

Southeast Gas has an immediate opening for a Construction Worker at its Andalusia Office.

Responsibilities for the job include:

• Installing, relocating, and abandoning gas services.
• Responding promptly to reports of gas leaks, conducting necessary maintenance to repair leaks, and responding to emergencies.
• Assuring proper maintenance on all valves, preparing main tie-ins, running main extensions and service lines.

Requirements for the job include:

• Ability to operate heavy equipment and ride/drive for extended periods of time.
• Involves lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and walking across diverse terrain.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Possession of a valid Alabama Driver’s License.
• Minimum two years of experience is preferred.
• Residence in the Andalusia area.
