In this role, dockworkers will be essential in overseeing the important tasks of loading, unloading, and organizing freight efficiently at the port. Candidates with forklift operating skills will be at an advantage, as this will enhance productivity during operations. Your responsibilities will involve working directly on vessels at the port, where you will facilitate the loading of a variety of materials, including lumber and paper products. Schedule:
day shift and night shift 12 hour shift Day shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces as required in a shipbuilding environment. Physical agility and dexterity to perform tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching. Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.
