The ideal candidate will assist with various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork. This is a part time position to start with the opportunity to become full time. Duties Perform various construction tasks including but not limited to painting, drywall, finish carpentry, flooring, general demo, and other home improvement related tasks. Assist skilled tradespeople in various construction tasks including but not limited to framing, drywall installation, and roofing. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Prepare job sites by cleaning and organizing materials and equipment. Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Load and unload materials as needed for construction projects. Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning. Communicate effectively with team members regarding project needs and progress. Qualifications Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and perform physical labor for extended periods. Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
