Description Key Responsibilities:

Site Preparation Assist in preparing construction sites, including clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up temporary structures. Help in marking out areas for excavation and construction using stakes and measuring tapes. Material Handling Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment to and from job sites. Organize and maintain materials inventory, ensuring proper storage and handling. Equipment Operation Operate basic construction equipment and tools, such as hand tools, power tools, and small machinery, under the supervision of senior technicians or foremen. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on tools and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Assisting Skilled Trades Work alongside skilled tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, electricians, plumbers) to assist with various tasks as required. Learn and apply basic construction techniques and practices under guidance. Site Safety Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment. Participate in safety training and meetings and report any hazards or incidents to supervisors. Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate records of daily activities, materials used, and any issues encountered on the job site. Assist in completing necessary paperwork and reports as directed by supervisors. Team Collaboration Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively to ensure project timelines and goals are met. Be open to learning from experienced colleagues and seeking feedback for improvement. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic knowledge of construction processes and terminology is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
