Job Responsibilities Job Overview:

As a Field Technician, you will play a hands-on role in conducting infrastructure evaluations and maintenance. You’ll work across Florida, utilizing advanced technologies, GIS, and traditional methods to provide essential services that keep communities functioning safely and efficiently. This position requires physical stamina, technical aptitude, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

Perform acoustic inspections, CCTV inspections, and 3D scanning of pipelines and manholes. Conduct smoke testing, ARV removal, cleaning, rebuilding, and installations. Execute hydrant maintenance, valve exercising, and I/I studies. Use GIS and paper maps to locate and evaluate infrastructure. Collect and record data using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and GPS equipment. Navigate and work in confined spaces, including manholes, following all safety protocols. Travel extensively across Florida, working in diverse environmental conditions (heat, rain, etc.). Work flexible schedules, including overnight shifts and long days (10-12 hours). Lift and carry up to 80 lbs, walk 3-5 miles per day, and perform physically demanding tasks.
