The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and have knowledge in various construction tasks. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members on-site, as well as without supervision at times. Responsibilities Some responsibilities and tasks include but not limited to: Measure, cut, and hang drywall, tape, mud, sand, and texture to prepare for paint. Assist with the installation of cabinets, lighting, and fixtures throughout residence ensuring precise alignment and secure fittings. Flooring – Lay laminate or tiles with precision, ensuring proper alignment and spacing for aesthetic appeal. Paint interior and/or exterior areas – prepping areas when necessary. Engage in frame carpentry, constructing frameworks for buildings or structures. Hang doors accurately, ensuring proper functionality and fit within frames. Be able to accurately take measurements and material counts. Operate hand tools safely and effectively to complete various construction tasks. Skills Be skilled in most if not all responsibility areas of work. For example be skilled in demo, drywall, painting, flooring, tile, carpentry, etc. Ability to accomplish tasks in a timely manor. Be productive during all areas of a project. Strong ability to use hand tools safely and efficiently.
