Job Summary:

Concrete Laborers assist with the setup, placement, and finishing of concrete on construction sites. This includes preparing work areas, handling materials, cleaning and maintaining tools, and supporting skilled tradespeople such as carpenters and finishers. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn and grow within a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with preparing construction sites by clearing debris, setting forms, and ensuring proper measurements and alignment. Mix, pour, and spread concrete under the supervision of foremen and skilled crew members. Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment related to concrete work. Load and unload construction materials and move them to appropriate locations on-site. Assist with stripping, cleaning, and storing concrete forms and tools. Perform general labor duties including site cleanup, backfilling, compacting, and other related tasks. Follow safety procedures and report any unsafe conditions or incidents to supervisors immediately. Work collaboratively with the crew to meet project goals and deadlines. Take direction from supervisors and skilled tradespeople, learning new techniques and best practices on the job.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in construction or concrete work is preferred but not required. Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting heavy objects, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance are essential. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
