Southland Specialties is looking for a laborer at minimum. Skid steer or Frontend Loader experience would be a bonus. A drivers license is required, a CDL will allow us to start you at a higher wage. We are currently looking to fill positions on a crew that will primarily be working in the Cocoa area, but will occasionally travel throughout the state as our work load dictates. Duties Operate and monitor machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions or issues. Assist in the loading and unloading of materials as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to the role. Experience Previous experience in a labor or operator role is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated candidates. Familiarity with operating machinery or tools is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Basic understanding of safety practices in an industrial setting is beneficial.
