We mainly install conduit and structures for FPL. Our fiber communications division pulls fiber, installs hand holes, and drops. We are looking for an experienced Laborers, Operators, and Foremen, to join our teams working at Babcock Ranch and Wellen Park, Venice. Hablas Español ok. The successful Laborer candidate will be responsible for installation of conduit and all duties as directed by the Foreman. The successful Operator candidate will operate the following machines safely and effeciently: telehandler, mini excavator, reel trailer, skid steer, and line truck. Additionally, the will have a valid driver’s license and will be capable of transporting equipment if required. The Foreman will be able to complete all the duties of an Operator, as well as, reading FPL plans, managing a crew, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed. The Foreman will also be responsible for training and developing new workers, as well as providing guidance and support to existing staff. Foreman Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in construction, maintenance, and repair of buildings and other structures. Ensure that safety regulations are followed. Train workers in proper safety procedures and use of equipment. Inspect tools, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Monitor work progress and report any delays or problems to management. Schedule work shifts and assign duties to workers. Resolve conflicts between workers or between workers and management.
