Undergroud Utilities Superintendent Castelli Construction 2406 Lena Road, Bradenton, FL 34211 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Utility Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various operational tasks within our facility, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of construction management principles and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members. The Utility Worker will play a crucial role in maintaining safety standards and adhering to project schedules. Responsibilities Assist in the setup and maintenance of job sites, ensuring all equipment is operational and safe for use. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction management software to facilitate project execution. Utilize construction management tools such as HeavyBid, Prolog, Primavera, and Bluebeam for project scheduling and documentation. Follow OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks. Perform general labor duties as needed, including lifting heavy materials and operating machinery. Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues or delays to supervisors. Experience Previous experience in a utility or construction-related role is preferred. Familiarity with construction management software is highly desirable, including HeavyBid, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam, and other relevant tools. Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics are essential. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices in a construction environment is required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
