Overview Remedial Construction Services, L.P. is anenvironmental remediation, geotechnical construction, and civilconstruction contractor founded in 1989. We are a national leaderin environmental remediation services, including soil remediation,soil stabilization and solidification, landfill cap and cellconstruction, permeable reactive barriers, deep soil mixing,biopolymer trenches, slurry walls and demolition of hazardous wastesites. Construction Laborers are responsible for performing tasksinvolving and related to physical labor onsite for environmentalremediation, civil, geotechnical and demolition constructionprojects. Responsibilities Observe and comply with all company andspecific site safety and project policies Supply input to JobSafety Analysis (JSA) and frequent improvements or changes to theJob Safety Analysis Plan (JSAP) Dig ditches or trenches, backfillexcavations, compact and level earth to grade specifications, usingpicks, shovels, pneumatic tampers and rakes Clean, remove andprepare materials used on site to eliminate possible hazardsControl traffic passing near, in and around work zones; signalequipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement andadjustment of machinery, equipment and materials Measure, mark andrecord openings and distances to layout areas where constructionwork will be performed Observe and comply with all company andspecific site safety procedures and project policies, and maintainthe construction site in strict accordance with OSHA guidelinesCommunicate professionally and respectfully with others by allmeans possible (visual or radio contact) including interpretinghand signals to determine where materials are to be placed orloaded May perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periodsof time, including lifting, positioning and securing materialsduring installation Responsible for care and custody of tools beingused, including daily cleaning and maintenance May perform othermiscellaneous duties as assigned Qualifications Must be able totravel as required over extended periods of time Must be able tooperate construction tools by hand Must be able to preform theduties of a labor while using different levels of PPE andrespiratory equipment, when necessary. Must be able to perform theduties of a laborer while working in all outdoor weather conditionsMust have the ability to read, write and understand math andEnglish to respond to customer requests and follow instructionsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, climb, operate motorizedvehicles and equipment, work in confined spaces, at heights andaround heavy equipment required Must be able to work in aconstruction environment with potential exposure to dust, noise,waste, toxic and infectious materials and in possible inclementweather

Additional Information Salary Range :

$15.00 – $18.00 / hrActual salary will be based on a variety of factors includingrelevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scopeof job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
