This role involves assisting in the construction, installation, and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure, including fiber optic and coaxial cable networks. The ideal candidate is hardworking, safety-conscious, and willing to work in various outdoor environments.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the construction and installation of underground and aerial telecommunications infrastructure. Operate and maintain construction equipment such as trenchers, plows, and drills under supervision. Dig trenches, lay conduit, and pull cable for fiber optic and coaxial networks. Set up work zones with proper signage, barricades, and traffic control measures. Perform general site preparation and cleanup duties. Work closely with crew members to ensure efficient and safe worksite operations. Adhere to all company and industry safety regulations. Assist in troubleshooting and repairing telecom infrastructure as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in construction, telecommunications, or utility installation is a plus. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, and working in various weather conditions. Basic knowledge of hand tools and construction equipment operation. Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed. Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required). Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment. Willingness to travel locally within the Metro Atlanta area and occasionally out of town
