Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our mitigation team. This role primarily supports contents handling, demolition work, and general physical labor. The ideal candidate is physically fit, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in residential and commercial environments affected by water, fire, or other types of damage.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with packing, moving, and organizing furniture, appliances, and personal belongings. Perform demolition work, including removal of drywall, flooring, cabinetry, and other damaged materials. Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized job site throughout the project lifecycle. Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times. Support restoration technicians and supervisors as needed with various hands-on tasks. Handle contents with care to avoid further damage during relocation or storage. Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment as required.

Requirements:

Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently and perform physical labor for extended periods. Experience in construction, demolition, or restoration preferred but not required. Willingness to work in environments that may be dusty, wet, or contain debris. Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic. Team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail.

$14.00 – $17.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
