In this role, you will support various construction projects by assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that work sites are organized and safe. This position is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn about the construction industry and develop their skills in a hands-on environment. Duties Assist in the setup and cleanup of job sites, ensuring all materials and tools are organized. Help skilled tradespeople with tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling materials. Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision. Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment. Load and unload materials from vehicles and transport them to designated areas on-site. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project timelines are met. Perform general labor tasks as required, including digging, lifting, and carrying materials. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in construction or a related field is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well in a team-oriented environment. Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds). Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is desirable. Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning new skills. Must be able to adhere to safety regulations at all times.
