The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with vinyl wrap applications, surface preparation, and precision installations. This role requires technical skill, an eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering a high-end finish on every project. You’ll work on a variety of vehicles and surfaces, helping our clients bring their creative visions to life while maintaining the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities Perform full and partial vinyl wrap installations on vehicles, including color changes, commercial graphics, and protective films. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, buffing, and detailing to ensure proper vinyl adhesion. Install vinyl on complex vehicle contours with precision, using industry-standard techniques (stretching, heating, trimming). Use hand tools, power tools, heat guns, and squeegees to complete installation tasks. Remove existing wraps, decals, and adhesives without damaging vehicle surfaces. Assist with custom design layouts, measurements, and material cutting as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Perform minor paint corrections or buffing if necessary to optimize vinyl appearance. Inspect completed work to ensure quality meets company standards and client expectations. Follow company protocols for safety, installation processes, and customer service. Qualifications Proven experience in vinyl wrap installation, PPF (Paint Protection Film), or a closely related automotive customization field. Strong understanding of vehicle surfaces, contours, and proper vinyl application methods. Proficient with hand tools, heat guns, squeegees, and cutting instruments. Ability to perform precise cutting and trimming by hand. Experience with surface prep techniques, buffing, and light paint correction is a plus. Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and pride in work quality. Physical stamina and comfort with standing, lifting, bending, and working on ladders or lifts. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Automotive detailing, window tinting, or auto body repair experience is a plus. Preferred Experience Previous work in a dealership, custom shop, or vinyl wrap studio preferred, but not required. Knowledge of different vinyl brands (3M, Avery Dennison, Inozetek, etc.) and their unique application techniques. Familiarity with airless paint spraying or welding is a bonus, but not required.
