General Construction Worker – multi trade skills 2.5 2.5 out of 5 stars Rayville, LA 71269 Job Overview Mammoth Industries Inc. is seeking skilled and reliable General Construction Worker with hands-on experience across multiple trades, including carpentry, concrete work, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems . This role requires a well-rounded professional who can contribute to various phases of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring quality craftsmanship and safety compliance. Responsibilities Perform general construction duties including framing, drywall, finishing, and demolition. Execute carpentry tasks such as building frameworks, installing doors/windows, and cabinetry. Mix, pour, and finish concrete for foundations, floors, sidewalks, and structural elements. Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems including piping, fixtures, and drainage systems. Support electrical tasks including running wiring, installing outlets, switches, and fixtures under supervision or per code. Participate in HVAC installation, ductwork, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents. Maintain a clean and organized worksite, ensuring safety regulations and guidelines are followed. Operate a variety of hand and power tools. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and subcontractors. Perform inspections and basic troubleshooting for various systems on-site. Assist with site preparation and cleanup at the beginning and end of each day. Qualifications Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in general construction with verifiable experience in at least 3 of the following trades: carpentry, concrete, plumbing, electrical, HVAC. High school diploma or GED preferred; technical or trade school training is a plus. Strong working knowledge of construction tools and equipment. Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and construction site best practices. Ability to read construction documents and blueprints. Physical strength and stamina; able to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Willingness to travel to different job sites if needed.

Beneficial Skills:

Certifications in any trade (e.g., EPA 608, OSHA 10/30, Journeyman license, etc.). Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
