Job Description
Responsibilities:
Assist in digging manholes, grading, and guidingequipment operators using universal hand signaling. Cleans and preparesjob sites including removal of debris, garbage, and excess wateraccumulation. Use of shovels and rakes for trenching, grading, andfine-tuning earthwork. Assist with handling and transportingconstruction materials. Assists with the loading and unloading ofequipment and materials. Set up warning devices and barricades asneeded. Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labortask items. Daily cleanup of work sites. Clean, inspect and properlymaintain tools. Additional duties may be assigned by direct supervisor.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver?s licenseand dependable transportation. Ability to lift heavy objects and performtasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication andorganizational skills. High attention to detail and ability to followinstructions carefully. Efficient, productive, and proactive approach towork. Willingness and eagerness to learn new skills.
PhysicalRequirements:
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 80 pounds.
Physically fit and able to perform various tasks that include standing,climbing, lifting, walking, reaching, crawling, etc. Ability to work inhard-to-reach places.
