We are a family and veteran-owned company based out of Rehoboth, MA, with over 30 years of experience in both commercial and residential excavation. As a Laborer at MJD, you will work on various residential and commercial job sites throughout the stages of construction. Our Laborers work Monday-Friday with possible overtime on Saturdays. We are looking for a knowledgeable, trustworthy individual with the drive to become a valuable member of our team. Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years’ experience as a Laborer on construction job sites, have a valid and up-to-date driver’s license, and a reliable vehicle.

Skills/Responsibilities/Qualifications:

Ability to read/interpret site plans. Follow safety protocols/procedures. Basic knowledge of construction tools/equipment. Work alongside others to complete daily tasks. Assist with site preparation and clean up. Troubleshooting/problem-solving skills. Communication and listening skills. Basic record-keeping skills. Physical stamina required (i.e. ability to withstand heat, cold; ability to lift heavy objects; dig trenches; etc.). Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience preferred. Strong work ethic.

$15.00 – $30.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
