Temporary Opportunity Job Description:

Now hiring Fertilizer Plant Laborers to fill multiple roles at an industrial facility in Fort Fairfield, ME. Great short-term opportunity to earn a lot of cash and build connections with a well-established employer. Full-time assignment lasting 2-3 months. Full-time/Days; $16.00 – $20.00/hr. Overtime pay available. The Fertilizer Plant Laborer will perform a variety of tasks, including sweeping floors, mowing lawns, filling hoppers, and operating a forklift and pallet jacks to sort and store product for shipment. Employees must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs. and be committed to upholding all required safety regulations. Applicants should have good communication and teamwork skills. Previous experience with manual tools and/or forklift helpful, but not required. PPE will be provided, but employees will need to provide their own steel-toed boots.

Responsibilities:

Basic cleaning duties; sweeping floors and cleaning facility surfaces.
Mowing lawns.
Filling fertilizer hoppers.
Sorting and packing product onto pallets for shipment using pallet jacks and forklifts.
Follow all required safety regulations for the job site; watch for and report potential safety concerns to management.

Job Requirements:

Ability to move/lift up to 50 lbs.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Previous experience with forklift helpful, but not required.

Schedule:

 Full-time/Days. Overtime available as needed.

Pay:
