General Laborer Hawkes Tree Service 78 Main Road, Phippsburg, ME 04562 Job description We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in tree care and landscape maintenance, with the ability to perform various tasks related to tree trimming and care. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a passion for working outdoors in a safe and efficient manner. Duties Perform tree trimming and pruning to maintain the health and aesthetics of trees. Utilize climbing techniques and equipment, including ropes and harnesses, to safely ascend trees. Assist in landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, mulching, and garden upkeep. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and safety on job sites. Be willing to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Skills Proficient in tree care techniques, including trimming, pruning, and removal. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed. Hourly wage is based off experience and will be determined at time of interview.
