• to play a crucial role in a safeand efficient construction site.

• Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present adescriptive list of the range of duties, but not all duties performedfor this position. Other duties may be assigned
• Ensure that work areas are clean, safe, and ready for construction activities. By removing debris, hazards, and obstacles to create a suitable environment
• Handle tools, raw materials, and equipment
• Load and unload items as needed for construction tasks
• Digging, Compacting Earth, and Backfilling Holes by performing manual labor, including digging trenches, filling pits, compact soil and backfill excavated areas
• Operate construction off road vehicles
• Follow safety protocols while using equipment
• Laborers take direction from supervisors and follow construction plans
• Assist heavy equipment operator and other skilled workers
• Assists in creating a positive and safe work environment
• Complete assigned training in a timely fashion
• Be coachable and learn from team members
• Complete assigned training in a timely fashion.

• Minimum Qualifications:

• To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able toperform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listedare representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required
• Willingness to learn from more experienced craft to become more proficient and knowledgeable
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license a plus
• Demonstrate the ability to finish tasks safely, accurately, and promptly
• Knowledge of standard hand and power tools and how to use them safely and correctly
• Basic construction experience
• Ability to solve problems
• Basic carpentry skills
• Able to relay and receive information from field management needed for the current project/task
• Strong work ethic
• Good attitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Demonstrate the ability to stay on task efficiently, safely, and flexibly.

• Additional Requirements:

• As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass apre-employment drug screening (post accepted offer) and have acceptablebackground check results. If applicable to the contract, you must alsoobtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtainaccess to military installations.

Ifrequired, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at alltimes including but not limited to, hard hats, steel toed boots, eyeprotection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Specificvision abilities required by this position include close vision,distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust vision.

• Working Environment
• Job is performed in outdoor settings to include walking, driving, andcarrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and coldconditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumesor airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
