South 40th Street, Saint Joseph, MO 64503 Job description MIKON Corporation is located in St. Joseph, Missouri and specializes in stockpile inventories for utility companies across the United States. All projects are out of town, typically requiring up to two weeks of travel at a time. Travel expenses are paid for by the company, including the use of company vehicles, hotel fees and $50 daily expense allowance. Applicants are encouraged to apply in person at: MIKON Corporation 4414 B South 40th Street St. Joseph, MO 64503 Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm Minimum Qualifications (Applicants not meeting these minimum qualifications will not be considered and need not apply) Must live near St. Joseph for mobilization to job site locations or to perform other maintenance tasks Minimum age 25 (per insurance policy) and have a clean driving record Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check Must be able to travel (frequently out-of-state) and work away from home (typically, projects last one to two weeks) Must be willing to work overtime (typically 10-20 hours of overtime per week) Physical Demands This position involves frequent lifting; up to 40 pounds throughout the day Employees will need to be able to stand on their feet for up to 10 hours a day Full range of motion and adequate arm and leg strength are necessary to be able to maneuver equipment safely Preferred Qualifications No experience needed – but previous experience with physical labor, background in drilling or boring and past experience using hydraulic/heavy equipment is a plus Current CDL Class B with airbrake endorsement. Company will provide training to obtain CDL if employee does not have Wage $26-28 dollars per hour Benefits After 60 days benefits include health insurance, paid vacation & holidays, plus an additional 5 weeks of seasonal paid time off. Retirement plan with matching company funds available after the first year.
