General Labor, On-Route Helper, Entry Level – We’re immediatelyhiring General Laborers / On-Route Helpers to manually/mechanicallycollect waste and assist drivers in Asheville, NC. The role of theOn-Route Helper involves assisting the Driver during waste removalservices on designated residential routes. This position ensuresprompt and courteous service to customers by safely loading wasteinto the vehicle, carrying bags and containers for disposal, andhelping guide the Driver while maneuvering the vehicle. Inaddition, the On-Route Helper helps to maintain the cleanliness ofthe vehicle, as well as the residential route and work area.
Working with recyclables is not a glamorous job but it’s anecessary one that helps keep our community clean.

As a full-time General Laborer /On-Route Helper, you’ll earn $20.00 per hour. Plus, as a GeneralLaborer / On-Route Helper at Leadpoint, you’ll enjoy perks thatinclude: Health, dental and vision insurance options after 90 daysof employment. We needreliable, detailed and safety-oriented On-Route Helpers who: Are atleast 18 years of age or older Can lift up to 50 lbs. Demonstrategood customer service skills to meet and exceed customerexpectations. Ability adhere to work schedules, safety policies andassigned tasks with a positive demeanor.
