Construction Laborer J Gant Construction Lawndale, NC 28090 Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team on construction sites. We are working on demolition as part of an ongoing jobsite in Lawndale, NC. We are looking for hardworking laborers for demolition phase and the possibility of ongoing employment on Lawndale and other jobsites. Duties Assist in demolition process. Assist in the preparation and cleanup of construction sites. Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed. Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision. Follow instructions from supervisors and project managers to complete tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety. Help with the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding, barricades, and temporary structures. Perform physical labor such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials. Skills Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects. Basic knowledge of construction methods and tools is preferred but not required. Ability to follow safety protocols and regulations on job sites. Good communication skills for effective teamwork. Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced workers. Problem-solving abilities to address challenges that arise on-site. Pay is based on experience and job performance.
