Job Description
Job DescriptionThe General Laborer will be required to perform the following duties
- Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites
- Operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments
- Clean construction area and dispose of rubble, debris and other waste materials
- Clean and maintain masonry tools and equipment
- Prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, and erect scaffolding
- Assist other craft workers in performing work duties
- Must have 6 months experience in construction to qualify.
