The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various construction tasks, mainly remodeling projects and deck building, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist skilled tradespeople in various construction tasks, including carpentry, masonry, and electrical work. Prepare job sites by cleaning and organizing materials and tools. Load and unload materials from trucks and transport them to designated areas on-site. Operate basic construction equipment such as jackhammers or drills under supervision. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to prevent accidents. Perform demolition work as required, including removing structures or materials. Assist with site inspections and report any issues or hazards to supervisors. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion. Qualifications Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required. We teach on the job! Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks. Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus.
