Job Description
Laborer GeoSurfaces Southeast Mooresville, NC 28117 Laborer GeoSurfaces Northeast is seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer to join our team in the installation and maintenance of athletic surfaces, including synthetic turf, running tracks, and other related products. The ideal candidate will assist in all aspects of surface preparation, installation, and clean-up while adhering to safety standards and providing exceptional service on job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of athletic surfaces, including synthetic turf, track systems, and other specialized materials. Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and effectively. Prepare job sites by clearing debris, leveling surfaces, and ensuring proper foundation preparation. Transport and load/unload materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites. Follow detailed installation and maintenance instructions to ensure quality and accuracy. Ensure that work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Assist with site clean-up and maintain a safe, organized work environment. Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet project timelines. Adhere to all company procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in labor or construction, preferably in the sports surface or landscaping industry. Ability to operate heavy machinery, power tools, and equipment safely. Strong work ethic with a focus on quality and safety. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Must be able to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks. Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with synthetic turf installation or athletic surface construction. Familiarity with safety standards and OSHA regulations. Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles if needed.
