The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction trades and be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Contractor will be responsible for executing high-quality work while adhering to safety standards and project timelines. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and assemble wood, composite, and other decking materials. Install deck framing, posts, and railings to meet safety and building codes. Apply weatherproofing, staining, or sealing as needed. Operate power tools, saws, drills, and other carpentry equipment. Dig post holes and set posts in concrete or other secure foundations. Install wood, vinyl, chain-link, and metal fencing. Cut and fit panels, gates, and supports according to design specifications. Ensure all fences are level, secure, and properly aligned. Assemble and install aluminum or wood framing for screen enclosures. Ensure weatherproofing and proper sealing of all components. Maintain a clean and safe work environment on job sites. Communicate effectively with team members and clients. Load, unload, and transport materials to and from job sites. Skills Experienced in designing, framing, and assembling durable, high-quality decks using wood and composite materials. Skilled in installing deck posts, beams, joists, and railings. Background in remodeling projects with an eye for design details. Proficient in measuring and cutting materials to fit design specifications.
