As a subcontractor, you’ll play a key role in completing projects for retail spaces, hotels, offices, and other commercial environments. This role specifically focuses on installing vinyl graphics and related materials—including wall murals, window graphics, decals, and more. We value precision, efficiency, and a high standard of quality on every job. The ideal candidate is a reliable professional with proven experience installing graphics in commercial environments. You should be detail-oriented, comfortable traveling, and able to work independently or with a team. Strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and professionalism on-site are essential. Duties Install a wide range of vinyl and graphic applications on various surfaces including walls, windows, floors, and fixtures. Abide by Toolkit’s dress code and conduct policies while on job sites. Load and unload trucks while ensuring safe handling of graphic materials. Use delivery tickets to confirm receipt of materials. Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with clients, contractors, and teammates. Execute all phases of the assigned installation project as directed by the lead installer or project director. Perform final adjustments, cleaning, and touch-up before completing an install. Document any damages or site concerns and report them to the project director. Follow punch list procedures as needed. Capture and submit clear progress and completion photos. Provide mentorship and support to new installers when applicable. Requirements Valid driver’s license with auto insurance and reliable transportation. Minimum 2 years of experience installing vinyl graphics in commercial environments. Certificate of insurance and worker’s comp (or exemption) required. Ability to travel for multi-day jobs (local and national opportunities). Carpentry or fixture assembly experience is a plus, but not required. Comfortable reading and interpreting blueprints and layout drawings. Must be proficient with tools, including cutting and application tools for graphics. Strong commitment to job site safety. OSHA 10/30 and lift certifications are a plus. Must be able to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, and lift heavy materials. Must be proficient with smartphones/tablets for email, photo uploads, and app-based job tracking. Must maintain a clean driving record and pass pre-employment drug screening.
