Job Title:

Environmental Laborer Job Description Looking for site laborers for an environmental construction company! You will work in crews ranging from 4-5 to 10-15 members. This role requires good physical condition and endurance as you will regularly push, pull, and lift more than 50 lbs. You must be able to work aloft, climb ladders, and use staging/scaffolding and other aerial equipment. Expect long hours on your feet and working in various types of conditions including snow, rain, cold, and heat. You may also perform work above your head and in tight quarters. You will need to have experience in underground utilities, site work, environmental, and earth work. Pay rate will be $25 – $35 an hour. Responsibilities Perform general labor tasks in an environmental construction setting Participate in environmental cleanup and remediation projects Operate mechanical equipment as needed Work in various weather conditions and environments Climb ladders and work with aerial equipment Perform tasks that require lifting more than 50 lbs Work in tight quarters and above head level Potentially operate a street sweeper, rock truck, roller, and water truck Essential Skills 3-10 years of utility construction experience or environmental experience OSHA 10 Hour certification General labor and construction skills Environmental cleanup and remediation skills Mechanical aptitude Additional Skills & Qualifications 40 Hour
