Role Description:

American Marine Construction is seeking to add a laborer to our crew, to aid in the installation of various Marine Construction projects / jobs. (Including the building/installation of Bulkheads, Docks, Piers, Floating Docks, Timber & Helical Piling, Boat lifts, Etc.)

Job Duties:

• To get or grab tools as needed/requested for.
• To construct/aid in the installation of the services we provide. (bulkheads, piers, floating docks, boat lifts, docks, marinas, pile driving, and other types of Marine Construction projects.
• Digging with shovel when needed.
• Wheelbarrow dirt on some projects to backfill bulkheads.
• Work can be both on and off of our barge depending on the project.
• Aid in the loading and unloading of trailers loaded with various job materials, machinery, piling, etc. at our company yard.
• Help to move, load, and unload our barge with job materials, machinery, etc.
• Prior Marine Construction experience is preferred but not required

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must have a Valid NJ Drivers License
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to lift & carry 75lbs.
• Full time position
• Prior experience preferred

Job Location:

Most of work will be in Ocean City, NJ and occasionally in Somers Point, NJ or surrounding areas. Base wages start at $24/hr. with no experience, and go up from there. We value hustle and hard work!
