Construction Laborer Up and Above Contractors, LLC 209 Main Street, Andover, NJ 07821 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Carpenter or Carpenter helper/Laborer to join our team. Pay is based on experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be able to work effectively on construction sites. This role involves building, repairing, and maintaining structures made of wood and other materials, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. We will also consider someone who is willing to learn and start out as helper/laborer. Valid Driver’s license required. Responsibilities Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard. Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines are met. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local building codes and regulations. Maintain a clean and organized work area on the construction site. Valid Driver’s License required Skills Strong knowledge of various carpentry techniques including roof construction. Experience with stucco application is a plus. Familiarity with electrical systems related to carpentry projects is beneficial. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
