General Construction Worker and Assistant Wanted 2.1 2.1 out of 5 stars Fishkill, NY 12524 GigglesWorld® is seeking skilled Construction Laborers & Maintenance Assistants. You must be reliable, versatile, and hardworking to join our team. This role will support remodeling projects; help maintain our properties and assist the President/CEO with various tasks and responsibilities: Assist with remodeling projects, including building, demolition, carpentry, painting, and other construction tasks. Perform maintenance and repairs at our retail locations to ensure a safe and functional environment. Support the President/CEO with administrative tasks, such as obtaining project bids, managing supply chain logistics, and coordinating with vendors and contractors Use handyman skills to address general repairs and maintenance needs. Perform site tasks like, lifting, carrying, and operating basic tools. Assist in Warehouse operations when needed Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Requirements:

Handyman skills with experience in remodeling, maintenance, or general repairs. Physical stamina and ability to lift materials when required. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment (preferred but not required). Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact with contractors, vendors, suppliers, and leadership. Must have own transportation and a valid, clean driver’s license. Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and ability to follow instructions. be able to self-manage without having to always be told what to do. Flexible scheduling is an option as long as it doesn’t interfere with making projected deadlines.

Details:

Full-time or part-time positions available, with potential to become permanent for the right candidates.

Starting hourly rate:

$20.00 to $30.00 per hour, based on skills and experience. Opportunities for growth, training, with increased responsibilities.
