Job Description

Day Laborer Conley Excavation & Property Services Stanley, NY 14561 Day Laborer needed for an up and coming excavation business in Stanley, NY. We’re a small company, in our 3rd year and are booked all summer. Our operator needs some reliable assistance. Work varies by the day, when we aren’t out on a job, there’s plenty to keep you busy at the home base. Willing to train the right person, but basic knowledge of construction sites are preferred.

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old Must have own vehicle Must be able to lift 50lbs overhead and be on your feet most of the day Must be reliable and show /take initiative Must be willing to work hard Not required, but would be helpful: Construction site experience Heavy Equipment knowledge/experience Mechanical skills

Job Duties:

(examples, each job/day is a little different) Help load/unload equipment and tools for the day Assist at job sites by getting tools and cleaning up as the day goes on Using hand tools (rakes, shovels, etc) Assist assembling pipes for drainage Assist the operator with whatever is needed Traffic control as needed Maintain equipment as needed The Day Laborer has the potential to move up based on performance and character. Currently the position is for the summer/fall but if the fit is right, it could become Full-Time with room to grow as we grow.

Job Types:
Temporary, Part-time, Apprenticeship Pay:

$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
