Project Manager Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Operator / Landscaper to join our team. This position is responsible for operating heavy equipment and assisting in various landscaping and site development tasks. The ideal candidate has experience in site grading, soil preparation, hardscaping, and basic equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate machinery including skid steers, mini-excavators, backhoes, loaders, and compactors Perform site grading, trenching, and excavation Assist with installation of landscape elements including sod, trees, shrubs, and hardscape materials (pavers, retaining walls, etc.) Maintain and inspect equipment daily for safe operation Support general landscape and construction site labor as needed Follow safety protocols and project specifications Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years experience operating landscaping or construction equipment Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required) Familiarity with landscaping materials and tools Ability to read site plans and grade stakes a plus Strong work ethic and ability to work in varying weather conditions Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to walk, bend, and stand for long periods Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
