Excavation Laborer D.G. Gutierrez Enterprises dba Woodstock landscaping and excavating 101 Basin Road, West Hurley, NY 12491 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled excavator laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with excavation and site preparation, support equipment operators, and perform manual labor duties to ensure the safe and efficient completion of construction projects. Responsibilities Assist with excavation task such as digging trenches, grading and site preparation. Support operators of heavy machinery by clearing work areas, spotting and performing hand- digging when necessary. Perform general labor tasks including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment at all times. Maintain a clean and safe worksite by removing debris and hazards. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance. Ensure that all tools and equipment are in good working condition before use. Experience Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is an asset. Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation is beneficial. Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of site safety practices is essential.
