//vimeo.com/1012489292 Responsibilities & Duties Meeting with managers to discuss venue carpentry/maintenance needs. Creating and following design plans for remodeling projects. Cutting, shaping, smoothing, fabricating, and/or installing lumber and other materials (e.g., fiberglass) according to measurements. Building window frames, doors, staircases, furniture, flooring, drywall, and other fixtures using raw materials or pre-constructed items. Drive company vehicles (will train) back and forth to venue sites to perform duties. Inspecting areas to conduct repairs or maintenance to ensure compliance with venue property regulations. Power washing, painting, deliveries, cleaning, electrical & plumbing repairs, and groundskeeping. Weekly Schedule is Monday to Friday; 7am – 3pm. Qualifications Previous carpentry experience and knowledge of carpentry materials. Skills in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry are a plus including use of work tools. Valid driver’s license required. The ability to drive a van or truck up to 26′ is highly preferred, but we will train you. Spanish speaking is not required but is a plus. Ability to take direction, work independently, and carry out designated tasks. Familiarity with online work order systems are preferred. Must be available for early morning starts and weekends as needed. Ability to lift to 50+ lbs and remain standing for long periods of time. Ability to work in a variety of temperatures, including outside in non-climate controlled conditions. Why Join Us? Annual $50,000-55,000. Full-time hourly position.
